Streamlining financial and operational processes across four countries –  UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman, while adhering to region-specific VAT and other regulations

    Each country had its own legacy applications for Procurement, Finance, Site Management

Emporis Solutions

  1. Product Standardization

    Product standardization was undertaken as a project activity and data migration team of Emporis assisted the country specific teams in data cleansing. Product catalogue with product category hierarchy was built with standardized item codes across the region.
  2. Customised Dynamics AX solution

    Emporis developed a customised Dynamics AX solution with both 3 and 2 decimal capabilities to support all Middle East countries.
  3. Standardization

    Chart of Accounts and dimension hierarchy was also cleansed and a standardised Chart of Accounts was implemented across the region.
  4. Automation

    Manual and offline tendering process which was performed outside the system was fully automated, complete with RFQ creation, sending - receiving replies as templated, and comparison based on Price, Credit term, Vendor performance etc.
  5. Reporting

    Client Aging Report with DSO Calculation –Country wise and Consolidation for Group with multiple currencies was developed.

    Real time data visibility and consolidated common financial data through enhanced MIS reports empowered the management to make informed decisions and group reporting.

    Common product categories and products gave a wonderful insight for the warehouse distributions and inventory maintenance. This enhanced tight control in inventory.

    Configuration of 3 decimals and 2 decimal transactions in the same instance improved the accuracy in regional operations.

    RFQ Tendering process automation, banking automation with Kyriba bank portal integration and automatic bank reconciliations reduced manual workload across the region.
